New high-performance Bluetooth Low Energy Thing Plus RA6M5 board

SparkFun's Thing Plus board utilizes the Renesas RA6M5 chip. This means smooth response, lightning fast data processing and the ability to perform complex calculations.

The Renesas RA6M5 features a 32-bit embedded processor core running at up to 200 MHz, 512 KB of static RAM (SRAM) with error correction code (ECC) support, 8 KB of data flash, and 2 MB of flash memory that is expandable via an additional 16 MB flash module on the main board. The chip's 21 general-purpose input/output (GPIO) pins are carried on six 12-bit analog-to-digital channels (ADCs), up to two 12-bit digital-to-analog outputs (DACs), up to two UARTs, and one each on SPI and I2C.

The board has Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), a two-pin JST connector for an optional lithium-polymer battery with charging circuitry and fuel level sensor, a four-pin Qwiic connector, and one user-accessible button and WS2812 RGB LED. If the 18MB of flash memory on the board isn't enough, there's a microSD card slot for memory expansion, as well as a USB Type-C connector for data and power.
