BeagleY-AI open source single-board computer

BeagleBoard has released the BeagleY-AI open source single-board computer for AI performance in robotics, factory and building automation, test and measurement, medical technology, intelligent vision, and more.

BeagleY-AI provides the processing power needed for object detection, semantic segmentation, etc.

BeagleY-AI features multiple powerful AI gas pedals paired with C7x DSP, 50 GFLOP integrated GPU with support for up to three simultaneous display outputs, and state-of-the-art connectivity options including USB3.1, PCIe Gen 3, WiFi6 and BLE 5.4. The board is compatible with a wide range of existing accessories that extend system functionality, including Power Over Ethernet (PoE), NVMe storage and 5G connectivity.

New feature set:
- Texas Instruments AM67A SoC: quad-core 64-bit Arm Cortex-A53 processor, dual general purpose DSP, Arm Cortex-R5 subsystem, GPU, video and vision gas pedals.
- Memory: 4GB LPDDR4; microSD card slot; board ID EEPROM.
- 3 simultaneous displays: microHDMI, OLDI (LVDS) with touchscreen support; MIPI-DSI with touchscreen support (mixed with MIPI-CSI).
- Debugging: 3-pin console UART JST-SH, 10-pin JTAG header TAG-CONNECT.
- I/O: PCI-Express Gen3; USB-C device port, 40-pin expansion connector.
