Adapter board to install Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 in MNT Reform laptop

The MNT Reform Open-Hardware Laptop will gain compatibility with the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 thanks to an adapter board that will allow it to be installed in place of the motherboard.

The original MNT Reform was introduced three years ago as a laptop built from the ground up to be as open as possible, from electrical designs to the case to the software. Last year, its successor, also called MNT Reform, completed a successful crowdfunding campaign. But its creator, Lucas F. Hartmann, didn't stop there.

Those interested in the CM4 adapter can find the KiCad project files in the MNT Reform repository on GitLab. But for those expecting to find something ready for purchase, disappointment awaits, as Hartmann hasn't finalized development yet.
