HARTING: CC-Link adopts ix Industrial as new standard interface

CC-Link, an organization based in Nagoya, Japan, has added the ix Industrial Gbit Ethernet Type A interface (according to IEC 61076-3-124) to the CC-Link IE TSN Network Communications Specification list as a new recommended standard.

As a robust industrial solution, ix Industrial complements the well-known solutions with X-codes RJ45 and M12. HARTING offers ix Industrial with additional features for demanding applications.

The ix Industrial interface is internationally standardized according to IEC 61076-3-124 and transmits Ethernet at a maximum speed of 10 Gbit/s.

CC-Link users now have a third industrial twisted pair Ethernet interface. With significantly improved reliability and a connector that is 70% smaller than RJ45, ix Industrial offers promising miniaturization possibilities.

Already included in the GigE Vision and PROFINET specifications, the ix Industrial interface is gaining popularity thanks to CC-Link. Thus, ix Industrial is increasingly establishing itself as a common standard for reliable Ethernet networks.

In addition to the standard variant, the HARTING Technology Group offers a push-pull connector for tight integration of several interfaces installed next to each other.

With the new Mini PushPull series, the ix Industrial connecting surface is also available in waterproof and dustproof versions.
