The new 9159-600 Series dual-row inverted through-hole edge connectors for PCBs feature offset contacts that double the number of positions (4 to 12 vs. 2 to 6) in a similar format and provide space savings.
The high impedance nickel-plated beryllium copper gold-plated contact system provides a full 2.5A current rating per contact for increased reliability in harsh environments. The low-profile (2.85 mm above panel) through-hole design supports applications with minimal height restrictions on the mating side of the PCB and does not interfere with LEDs. Offset contact configuration prevents short circuits and contact damage.
