What will happen to PCBs in 2024 and beyond

As technology and consumer demand grows, so do PCBs. While today's PCBs are produced at incredible speeds and are staggeringly complex, there is always room for further development.

1. PCB cameras consist of a lens, iris, and image sensor and are designed to take digital photos and videos. They are small enough to fit on almost any board and capture high-resolution video. Board cameras are expected to continue to evolve over the next few years. Improved day/night and low light features are being developed that will improve image quality.
2. 3D printing technology. This is one of the most exciting new developments in recent years, providing the opportunity for more creativity and innovation in PCB manufacturing.
3- Flexible PCB technology is already outpacing rigid PCBs in terms of sales growth, which means the future looks bright. Because of their flexibility, PCBs have found many applications in industry, making them a product in high demand. If this trend continues, we can expect to see even more flexible PCBs in the near future.

Engineers are currently working to ensure that by reducing the number of components on a printed circuit board, functionality can be maintained. PCB technology will continue to evolve in the future as our needs and priorities change.
