Avnet releases AUBoard 15P development kit

Avnet has released a new development kit, the AUBoard 15P, which is designed for building a variety of applications.

The development board features an AMD Artix UltraScale+ FPGA that provides high interface bandwidth and compute density for a variety of networking and video applications. With the multiple GTH transceivers provided by the Artix UltraScale+ FPGA, it is easy to create complex designs with flexibility and high processing speed.

The board features a variety of ports, including SFP+ and HDMI 2.0, as well as PCI Express Gen 4 interfaces, providing high-speed connectivity and high-resolution video processing. Developers can quickly prototype a variety of FPGA designs with the AUBoard 15P kit. The kit features the AMD Artix UltraScale+ AU15P device, which provides multiple programmable logic cells and GTH transceivers with high data rates.

Avnet's vice president of advanced applications emphasized that the board provides design engineers with innovative and cost-effective capabilities to accelerate projects to market. The AUBoard 15P is suitable for a variety of applications including edge computing, embedded systems, machine vision, industrial networking, industrial automation, medical and AV broadcasting.

The AUBoard 15P Dev Board is available for pre-order now, with shipments expected in the third quarter of 2024.
