Orange Pi has unveiled a new Orange Pi 5 Max single board computer that competes with the Raspberry Pi 5.
The device has various features including a 6-core processor, a 2.5-gigabit Ethernet port, an M.2 M-key port with support for four PCI Express Gen. 3 and an Arm Mali-G610 graphics processor. Orange Pi 5 Max supports Orange Pi OS, Ubuntu, Debian and Android 12.
The device is driven by a Rockchip RK3588 system-on-chip with Cortex-A76 and Cortex-A55 cores and an Arm Mali-G610 GPU. It supports machine learning and artificial intelligence, providing computation at up to six tera operations per second (TOPS).
