Thanks to their high efficiency of up to 95%, they can operate at full load at ambient temperatures of more than 100°C? with airflow or even 120°C.
The RPMGE-10 and RPMGH-40 non-isolated DC/DC converters are rated for 10A and 40A output, respectively. The input voltage for both converters ranges from 18 to 75 VDC, allowing them to be adapted to a range of ratings. Both series are available with nominal outputs of 5 VDC or 12 VDC, which can be adjusted from 3.3 to 8 VDC and 8 to 34 VDC, respectively, opening up a wide range of applications.
The advanced thermal design provides high efficiency (up to 95%), allowing the DC/DC converters to operate at full load at ambient temperatures in excess of 100°C with airflow and 120°C with step-down at nominal input and output voltages. Cold operation under rated conditions contributes to a MTBF of more than 1.2 million hours in accordance with MIL-HDBK-217F.
Inputs are available for on/off control, output adjustment, and remote readout. In addition, undervoltage, overload, overtemperature and short-circuit protection features are available. The drives are available in open frame and through-hole formats, with standardized sizes and pin assignments.
