AAEON has released the world's smallest single-board computer PICO-MTU4 based on Intel Core Ultra processor platform.
The PICO-MTU4 board has an ultra-small PICO-ITX form factor size (100mm x 72mm) and utilizes a sparse die design, hybrid processor core architecture and an integrated Intel Core Ultra series machine vision processor (VPU), which improves performance by 24% and reduces SoC power consumption by 50%.
The board is available with Intel Core Ultra 7 and 5 processors totaling up to 12 cores and 14 threads. It features LPDDR5x memory, LAN ports, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and various serial interfaces. The device is recommended for use in industrial robotics as well as SCADA, MES and monitoring systems. The board supports expansion via SATA and M.2 interfaces, as well as Wi-Fi 6 support and a wide temperature range from -20 °C to 70 °C.
