Tuya has released the low-cost Tuya TU-2 Development Board. It is designed to work with Tuya's smart home platform, which provides a wide range of devices and ecosystem capabilities.
The T2-U development board includes the T2-U Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, buttons, LED indicator, GPIO, power, and USB-to-serial chip. It has breadboard compatibility connectors and features a 32-bit RISC-based microcontroller core running at up to 120 MHz, 256 KB of SRAM, and 2 MB of flash memory.
The board supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n single-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 Low Energy with a 2.2dBi PCB antenna and comes with a license to connect to the Tuya cloud platform. The device runs the TuyaOS operating system and can be programmed using the Tuya Wind IDE or instructions on GitHub. The board is available for order on AliExpress for $6.46.
